Richmond Hill, Ontario – October 26, 2018 – COMsolve Inc. announces that it has been selected by the Canadian Numbering Administration Consortium (CNAC) to operate as the Canadian Numbering Administrator (CNA) for the five year term commencing on or about January 1, 2019 following the expiration of the agreement with current CNA service provider. On October 23, 2018, COMsolve and CNAC executed a services agreement which was the culmination of an open request for proposal process conducted by CNAC.
The CNA is the entity responsible for administering and issuing telephone numbers and other telecommunications codes in Canada. It operates under the regulatory supervision of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and is funded by the Canadian telecommunications industry. The CNA role is currently performed by Leidos Canada, which will be transferring all CNA systems and information to COMsolve on or about December 31, 2018.
